| Abstract: | The aim of this research was to know the strength of several rice varieties commonly consumed by people against pest storage (Sitophilus zeamais Motschulsky) attack. The rice varieties used were 8 varieties: Cisokan Padang Panjang, Rojolele, IR 64 Purwerejo, Morneng Cianjur, Batang Piaman, Cisadane, Red Rice Kalasan, IR 64 Parung Banteng, local variety Bogor. The results showed that local variety Bogor and IR 64 Parung Banteng are the strongest type against pest storage attack for all parameters than other varieties. |
