| Abstract: | Since the establishment of regional autonomy, it gives the authority to each region to manage and exploit of the sea with all the fishery resources, include acknowledgment of traditional community right and management of resources fishery which maximally had ignored. For exampleâ€sasi lautâ€as a traditional wisdom in contuinity of management fishery resources on Molucas. However development of period also influence the â€sasi†existence, namely ;(i) increasing of market demand had changed the â€sasi†period. (ii) individual right were lost, (iii) low legitimate of â€sasi†as communal property right, (iv) rejected of market to many â€sasi†product because it status as protected marine biota, and (v) reduction of â€sasi laut†practice by Molucas community. It explained that â€sasi†are not guarantee of conservation if community had oriented to economic benefit only, and government supportless to â€sasi†practice. Sasi laut should be acknowledged as de jure wich surveillance and controlling support, in order that it still exist and have benefit to community, and to support sustainability of fishery development. |
