Abstract: Lipoprotein (a), mikroalbumin, hypertension, diabetic nephropaty level is highly prevalence in many developing countries including Indonesia. Lp(a) level is thought as the cause of microangiopathy such as retinopathy, neuropathy and nephropathy. The effect of Lp(a) on the progression of nephtopathy is correlated with microalbuminuria. Mikroalbuminuria (MAU) is a marker for glomerulus hyperperfusion, is elevation of albumin secretion in urine 20-200 mikrogram/min, a determine of vascular endothelium disfunction on the vascular systemic and glomerular (endotel vascular and podosit). The aim of this study was to determaine a deteriorating renal function. The study was conduct on patient which come to a clinical pathologist laboratory in Semarang. 7 patien male and female ; (47-65 tahun). Lp(a) method imunoturbidimetry, kit Reagent Unimate 3 LPA Roche, Automatic photometer Cobas Miras. Mikroalbuminuria in urin with method enzymatic Nycocard. The study correlation determine r=0.179 and p=0.072 between Lipoprotein (a) and mikroalbuminuria, while mikroalbuminuria has maximum range 121 and minimum 9 and standart deviation was 43,28 and mean 57,14 Lipoprotein (a) has a maximum range 14,4 ; minimum range 3,80 and standart deviation 3,51 and mean 8,38. Lp(a) is correlated with microalbuminuria. Lp(a) is thought as the cause of microangiopathy.
