Abstract: This study aims to look at the feasibility of investment commodity seaweed farming in the area of Integrated Economic Development Zone (Kawasan Pengembangan Ekonomi Terpadu, KAPET) Ceram. Potential seaweed cultivation area in Maluku amounted to 206,000 ha and the potential development of aquaculture in the region of West Ceram regency amounted to 7,690 ha while the area of land devoted only reached 929.9 ha (DKP district. SBB). This figure shows that seaweed farming is not well developed given the extensive area of waters that are within the area of KAPET Ceram were great and the potential for exploitation. There are three alternative scenarios of investment capital developed in this study include: a). The entire investment needs (fixed assets and working capital) financed with its own capital; b). Fixed asset investment needs to use their own capital, while investment in working capital using third party funds; c). Fixed asset investment needs to use third party funds, while investment in working capital using their own capital. From a financial overview and using a feasibility analysis of investment (Net Present Value / NPV, Net Benefit Cost Ratio / Net B / C, Internal Rate of Return / IRR, Payback Period / PBP), the result that is financially three investment scenarios cultivation seaweed region Ceram KAPET feasible. Diserahkkan further options for investors to choose which alternative will give him keuantungan optimal for the company.
