Abstract:	The aim of this research was to determine the nutmeg crop management systems by farmers in Hatu and Lilibooi villages, West Leihitu Sub-district, Central Maluku District. The method used in this study was a survey method and direct observations conducted on the farmers who grew nutmeg trees as respondents. The results showed a low absorption of technology, so that it did not guarantee to improve their knowledge of nutmeg cultivation techniques, because they only had limited knowledge from ancestral heritage. However, the spirit of the respondent farmers to seek is high that they can manage their nutmeg plantation well.
