Abstract:	CSR is the theoretical basis of the need for a company to build a harmonious relationship with the community around the work area and operations. CSR regards the company as a moral agent, with or without the rule of law, a company must uphold morality. Strictly speaking, the existence of CSR is in order to strengthen the sustainability of the company itself by building cooperation among stakeholders. CSR implementation is done through empowerment to improve the welfare of the community and maintain the environmental quality Implementation of CSR developed rapidly, including in Indonesia, through Law No. 40 Year 2007 regarding Limited Liability Company, specialized in Article 74, in response to the corporate world action against social and environmental aspects which result in harm to society.
