Abstract: Appearance of body weight is one of the nation identifier Bali cattle, especially cattle as cows and a typical Indonesian national germplasm need to be developed and preserved. Weight assessment in order to determine weight cattle ranchers each tail and breeders can easily prepare food. Model cattle sales by farmers on the island of Seram, the determination of the selling price is only done by looking at gender and body size of animals that will be sold regardless of the actual body weight of the animal. This study aimed to determine the correlation between age and weight of Bali cattle (Bos sondaicus) based on bust size. The research was conducted on the island of Seram includes District Huamual (luhu and Olas Village), Kairatu (Village Waisamu, Kairatu, Waihatu and Waimital) and Bula (Bula Village and Bridge Wet UPT Z). Bali cattle as much as 227 tail consisting of 50 males and 177 females. Observed variables is chest circumference, body weight and age assessment. This study uses survey methods, measurements and direct observation in the field. Data were analyzed using quadratic regression analysis. The results showed that there is a highly significant relationship (P <0.01) between age (X) and body weight (Y) Bali cattle on the island of Seram. Concluded that the age and weight of Bali cattle on the island of Seram showed highly significant relationships which may increase the life of increasing weight.
