Abstract: The prominent pest was important pest in agriculture which can damage the plant seriously. The prominent pest of Vigna unguiculata plant was Myzus persicae, Aphis craccivora and. Phyllocnistis citrella. Vigna unguiculata is vegetable belong to family leguminoceae, which has high content of nutrients. The objective of this research was to determine damage intensity of Vigna unguiculata caused by prominent pest in Faculty of Agriculture Green House, Poka, Ambon. The research was done by using survey methods on 69 plants to check the area of pest attack, but only 20 plants was used to detect the damage intensity. The result showed that the prominent pest of Vigna unguiculata crop was Myzus persicae, Aphis craccivora and Phyllocnistis citrella. The area attacked by each pest was 100 percent, while the damage intensity of plants caused by each pest was Myzus persicae and Aphis craccivora (43.79%) and Phyllocnistis citrella (49.57%), which were in moderate category. The research result showed that the highest damage intensity in Vigna unguiculata was caused by Phyllocnistis citrella (moderate category) and the damaged area by all pests was in extreme category. The temperatures of the Green House were normally at 30-37 oC which caused a good response of the pest development to damage the plants.
