Abstract:	Employment elasticity shows the percentage change in use of labor as a result of changes in labor input prices/wages, and output to be produced. In the economic development efforts in Maluku, the secondary sector experienced slowly growth, and the ability of employment is very small. Therefore this research wants to be seen through employability in the sector. The findings indicate that the employment elasticity is very low. Lower elasticity of wages and the opportunity for change is not very significant, also a positive effect. This means that if people want to work increases wages will increase. Long-term employment elasticity is lower than the short-term. The desired of labor manifestly increasing high enough in eliminated within one year.
