Abstract:	PT IKI makasar is a limited company that manufactures shipyard and ship repair. Has some dock to repair one of them is gravin dock. Water in the drying process of the graving dock pumps only 1 active working of 5 existing pumps so that the drying process takes along time is 8 hours. For is the shipyard add 1 pumps that aims to activate the pumps work and shorten the drying process water. But the addition of 1 unit of this pump is not accompained by an analysis of the capacity of the pump head and power. The research be descriptive with the aim of the determining the pump head and power requred by the shipyard. Graving by analyzing the pozition of the pump head accessories the obtained (H) = 579,67 m and pump powe N = 207,95 KW pump with water graving dock drying time of less than 6 hours.
