Abstract: A field experiment was designed to investigate the effects of composted sago pith waste and flower fruit (ff) ABG fertilizer on the improvement of physical characteristics of cambisol soil and the growth of corn. The experiment used Completely Randomized Block Design using 3 replications. The first factor was B0 (no sago pith waste), B1 (0.5 kg/plot), B2 (1.0 kg/plot) and B3 (1.5 kg/plot) and ff-ABG fertilizer was P0 (no fertilizer), P1 (1 mL/L per plant), P2 (2 mL/L per plant) dan P3 (3 mL/L per plant). The experiment showed that the application of sago pith waste bokashi with dosage of 15 ton/ha significantly decreased soil bulk density, particle density, decreased rapid drainage pores and increased slow drainage pores. The interaction between both composted sago pith waste (bokashi) and flower-fruit ABG fertilizer significantly increased water available pores (field capacity), unavailable water pores and dry weight yield.
