Abstract: Bioliz liquid organic fertilizer is a new product of Faculty of Agriculture, Pattimura University, therefore the right concentration to improve tomato productivity is needed to determine. Productivity of tomato plant can also be reached through pruning of water shoots. The objective of this study was to obtain the right concentration of liquid organic fertilizer Bioliz right and to determine the effect of pruning of water shoots on the growth and production of tomato plant. This research was conducted at the greenhouse of Agriculture Faculty, Pattimura University in October 2013 to January 2014. Randomized block design (RBD) with two factors namely concentration of Bioliz (4cc/l of water (K1), 8 cc/l of water (K2), 12 cc/l of water (K3), and 16 cc/l of water (K4)) and pruning of water shoots (without pruning (P1) and pruning (P2)) was used in the experiment. The results showed that interaction between the concentration Bioliz of 16 cc/l of water with the treatment without pruning (K4P1) gave the highest number of flowers formed (116.67 florets). Interaction between the concentrations of Bioliz 8 cc/l of water without pruning (K2P1) gave the highest number of branches (51.17 branches). While the interaction between the concentration of Bioliz 8 cc/l of water with pruning (K2P2) gave the highest value of fruit diameter (5.02 cm).
