Abstract:	This research was aimed to study and describe the crop management system of nutmeg (Myristica fragrans Houtt) in the village of Allang, Leihitu Subdistrict, Central Maluku District. The result was expected to be used as a reference to enhance and improve the management system of nutmeg dusung in order to increase production. The method used in this research was a survey method, involving farmers who grow nutmeg as respondent. The data were tabulated and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that farmers' knowledge about the management of nutmeg garden was still inadequate and traditional in nature, so maintenance was not yet been done properly and correctly. However, when compared to other nutmeg production areas, the production in the village of Allang was higher. Willingness of farmers to improve the management of nutmeg gardens were high because the land was still greatly available, but extension was needed.
