Abstract: The purpose of this research was to determine the efficiency of egg yolk addition combined with coconut water dilution on Sperm Quality of Thin Tail Sheep Semen.Experimental design used was a factorial experimental design with a complete basic random design (CRD). The first factor (A) was a type of coconut water (A1: varieties viridis, A2: varieties rubescens, A3: hybrid) and the second factor (B) was the addition of egg yolk (B1: 20%, B2: 17%, B3: 14%). The variables measured were sperm motility and sperm. Based on the results, there was an interaction between diluents coconut water and egg yolk on the percentage motility of spermatozoa from the first day until the fourth day of storage, (P <0.05) where as the percentage of viability spermatozoa obtained was from the second day until the fourth day of storage. Efficiency of14% addition ofegg yolk can be applied in the artificial insemination programe on the first day of storage for the three types of coconut water diluent, and the type diluent of coconut water rubescens and hybrid on the second day of storage. Efficiency of17% addition of egg yolk can be applied in the artificial insemination programe on the third day of storage for the three types of coconut water diluent. The percentage of spermmotility and sperm viability is worth AI at least above 40%.
