Abstract: Background: Zooplankton are organisms that play an important role on the productivity of the secondary and the first consumer in the territorial waters. In addition, the presence of zooplankton in a body of water can be used to determine the level of productivity of a body of water. Therefore, the changes that occur in a water area can be determined by looking at changes in the abundance of zooplankton organisms. Methods: The study was conducted Since December 2013 until January 2014. The sample in this study was taken from the territorial waters of mangrove forests Ohoi / Village Kolser and identification of zooplankton samples conducted at the Laboratory of the Politechnic Tual Marine Science Department. Water samples are taken as much as 50 liters using a bucket which has a volume of 10 liters for 5 times. Water is filtered using planktonnet with a mesh size of 100 μm size and fit into the container vessel which has a volume of 1 liter. The filtrate was taken to 200 ml to be sampled and given a 4 % formalin. Identification of samples was done with the aid of an electron microscope 100x magnification binoculars. Zooplankton samples taken using a pipette of 1 ml and then dropped into the glass object is then covered with a cover glass. Observed under a microscope with a magnification of 100 times and were scarred hand tally receipts. Results: There were 6 phyla of zooplankton which consists of nine genera and 10 species in the waters of the mangrove ecosystem Ohoi / Village Kolser consisting of Eurytemora Pacifica, Clausocalanus pergens, Cavoliniainflexa, Leucosolenia sp, Sagitta enflata, Oikopleura longicauda, Tintinopsis radix, Tintinopsis pseudocylindrica, Globigerinita iota, and Mesodinium rubrum. Abundance values at 3 stations in sequence yaitu14.828 ind. / L, 35 375 ind. / L, 170 043 ind. / L, while the value of Uniformity index of variation in the range of 0.2 to 0.74. Conclusion: In the area of mangrove ecosystems in Ohoi / Village Kolser discovered 10 zooplankton species belonging to the phylum 6. Phylum Protozoa is the number of the most abundant species are 4 species. In general, based on the abundance of zooplankton at all stations fertility waters were high, ranging between 170043-2772 (ind/l). Diversity Index values ranged from 0.25 to 1.70 and included in the low category. Uniformity index ranged from 0.2 to 074, including the high category.
