Abstract:	The aims of the research were to determine total economic value, influence area and to make guidelines to develop tourism in Santai Beach. The method used was travel cost and sociogram. The results showed that the total economic value of Santai Beach tourism area namely recreational was Rp. 1.076.971.312,67/year, manage benefit value was Rp. 78.177.600,00/year and informal sector benefit value was 21.109.800,00/year. Zones one and four were influence zones which having major potency market for tourism in Santai Beach. To develop area of tourism on the Santai Beach, it should be based on the instruction as follows: (1) to develop and build recreational activities in that area; (2) to reduce the transportation cost by affording the tourism buses; (3) to develop tourism area based on characteristic of visitors; (4) to improve existing sightseeing by providing good facilities; (5) to increase economically activities based on local society community activities; (6) to promote tourism market by providing brochure or leaflet, media of electronic, and media print.
