Abstract: | Mariculture of oyster is not free from any kind of problems. One of the problem is attacking by parasite of polychaeta, especilally the harm driller polychaeta. This group could drill the shell of oysters. Therefore, the pearl oyster could die and declining the pearl quality. The research was conducted in the laboratory of mariculture Politeknik Tual. The treatment was dyed of juvenil pearl oysters which has been attached by polychaeta in water with defferent salinity namely 0 psu, 15 psu, 30 psu (control), 45 psu and 60 psu for 15 minutes. The polychaeta which came out from oyster shell was Lysidicce sp., Polidora sp., Neries sp., Syllis sp., Streblosoma sp., and Phylodoce sp. The highest number was represented by Syllis sp. with 15 individu respectively follow by Lysidise sp. are 10 individu, Neries sp are 8 individu respectively, Polidora sp. are 3 individu, Phylodoce sp. are 2 individu and the last one Streblosoma sp. 1 individu. |
