Abstract: | Orifice is a tool used to expand the mass flow of the fluid so that the speed, pressure in closed conduits can be deformed a vena contraction. Recent studies of the orifice has been done extensively to determine changes in discharge coefficient (CD) variation due to the ratio of geometric dimensions such as diameter, length of the upper air flow orifice. To determine the value of discharge coefficient and dynamic loss coefficient, this research is done by varying the thickness of the pipe orifice and orifice pipe diameter of 12.7 mm and 19.05 mm.The test results showed that the treatment of the first, fourth, and fifth flow stream line is irreversible in the normal shock process , which is worth 0.194, 0.3016, 0.895 J / kg K. For every quantitative treatment system, an increase in the value of discharge coefficient ( . ) of 0.0020, 0.0029 and 0.0030 with . 0.0016, 0, 0024 and 0.0024. |
