| Abstract: | Recently, there was intensively increasing farming activity in Inner Ambon Bay. Nutrients waste is probably rise due to accumulation of feed input on the water sediment in particular at Poka waters. This research aimed to know condition of ammonia, nitrite and phosphat e concentration in fish farming area at Poka waters in period 2012 and 2013. Sampling of ammonia, nitrite and phosphate concentration was done vertically and horizontally, conducted in March 2012and March 2013 while for sampling phos phate only did in March 2013. This results indicated that ammonia concentration in Poka fish farming area increased about 0,014 mg NH 3 /l in 2012 to 0,054 mg NH 3 /l in 2013 whereas nitrite concentration fluctuated and tend to decline from 0,004 mg NO 2 /l in 2012to 0,002 mg NO 2 /l. Phosphat e concentration is about 0,2 mg PO 4 /l in 2013. Phosphate concentration was found at maximum level nowadays, except for concentration of ammonia and nitrite, Therefore, the increasing concentration coincide time is needed to be warned in future and its impact to organisms and environment of Poka waters of Inner Ambon Bay. |
