Abstract: The aim of this research were: to assess business management nowadays, to analyze business profit and fishermen income of lift net business owner, to analyze business feasibility of lift net business, to analyze determining factors of lift net business production and finally recommended business development strategies of lift net business at Sathean Village, Kei Kecil District. This study used survey which consisted of descriptive survey and explanatory survey. The research shows that production management and marketing management were well established. This condition was not the same at capital management. The fishers said that it is still for them to get business capital. Lift net businessman used to get Rp. 1.074.762 till Rp. 3.159.644 per trip at fishing days and Rp. 604.429 till Rp. 1.803.930 per trip at hard days. Several factors influenced lift net business production were fishing frequent, operational costs, fishing periods and age. Numbers of employment are not having influenced on production. Summarized of all regression coefficient as much as 7,510 describe value of return to Scale (RTS). RTS value that >1 showed the raising of increasing return. Several strategies were recommended such: 1) introduce lift net business to creditor such Union, Bank etc to get fund; 2) technology develop and numbers fishing gear of lift net business; 3) increasing or supporting research on fishing hauling improvement, capital management, operational cost management, fishing periods and also marketing; 4) improvement of production management function.
