Abstract:	Research was conducted in the coastal waters of Katapang Orchard on March to June 2015. The coral reef of Katapang Orchard coastal waters was in good condition category. Stony corals mining, utilization of coral reef resources using destructive methods and fishing gears, bameti, anchoring, garbage dismissal and resident waste, upland utilization with sedimentation are the community activities with the highest impact level on degradation of coral reef condition, species richness and stock of coral fishes, as well as benthic faunas of these coral reef ecosystem. Five management strategies were formulated to manage coral reef ecosystem in the coastal waters of Katapang Orchard.
