Abstract: This research was aimed to describe using “Discovery Learning” model to improve of the integrated thematic learning process in class IV of SD Kartika 1-12 Kota Padang. This was a Classroom Action Research which applied qualitative and quantitative approaches by doing 2 cycles. The subjects of the research were students and teacher in class IV. The results of the research indicated that the increase in the first cycle of RPP was 77. 75% (C) and the second cycle was 93. 4% (AB), the studying implementation of teacher and students aspect in the first cycle was 81. 25% (B) and the second cycle was 93. 7% (AB), the result of studying students in the first cycle was 81. 8% (B) and the second cycle was 91. 7% (A). So that, using Discovery Learning model could improve the integrated thematic learning process in classIV
