Abstract: The north coast of Baguala bay was became stricture by erosion in the past recent years. Although the revetment was built but this damaged still continue. The erosion with backward average - 2.831 m/year for the wave direction to the Southeast and - 1.733 m/year to the South. To overcome the erosion there were groin construction plans. The groin type of rubble mound groin with dimension is 90 metre lenght, 3.1 height, 2.8 breadth with three layer and toe protection. The analysis result that groin is more effective because groin can reduce erosion - 2.831 m/year become 1.791 m/year for the Southeast and became 1.170 m/year for the south.
