Abstract: Latu village in the Amalatu Regency, District of Seram Bagian Barat, Maluku Province is the cocoa-producing regions and cocoa commodity is also a source of farmers income. This study aims to analyze the farmers income and factors influencing it as well as to analyze the feasibility study of cocoa farming. The samples were determined based on simple random method. Respondents were 32 farmers (25%) of the total 128 cocoa farmers households. Primary data in this study was obtained from interviews and direct observation in the field. Secondary data was taken from village data monograph, district offices and from relevant agencies or institution as well as library studies. The results showed that the average farmers income is around 6,2 million rupiah per hectare per year. The main factors determining the level of farm income based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis were namely cocoa area, production cost and selling price. The analysis also showed that cacao farming is considered feasible by the BCR of 3.89.
