Abstract:	The aim of this research was to know the effect of various serum {sheep serum (SS), pregnant sheep serum (PSS) dan estrus sheep serum (ESS)} on in vitro ovine oocyte maturation. Material of this research is oocyte and ovary of local sheep gathered from slaughterhouse. Results showed that various of serum were no significant affected (P>0.05) nucleolus development oocyte on germinal vesicle (GV) and germinal vesicle breakdown (GVBD) phase. Various of serum was significant affected (P<0.05) development of oocyte nucleus on metafase-I (M-I) and metafase-II (M-II) phase. The average of GV phase were 5.36% (SS), 1.04% (PSS) dan 0.00% (ESS) respectivelly. The nucleolus development on GVBD phase respectivelly 8.21% (SS), 4.22% (PSS) dan 2.31% (ESS). Phase M-I respectivelly 28.65% (SS), 25.77% (PSS) and 17.71% (ESS). Phase M-II respectivelly 57.78% (SS), 68.97% (PSS) and 79.98% (ESS) respectivelly. It was concluded that supplementation of 20% ESS in maturation medium (CR1aa) ovine oocytes are the best, in the process of maturation of ovine oocytes in vitro.
