Abstract:	The objectives of this research were: 1) to achive the suitable sweet potato conservation media (Ipomea batatas (L) Lam) in order to make plant grow slowly and healthy; 2) to achieve cheap and accessible media through slow growth conservation. Experiment was done in Molecular Biology Laboratory of PAU Bogor Agricultural University. The experiment was arranged in factorial complete randomized design. Experiment used sweet potato clone 421.34 in order to know the effect of coconut water (0, 10, 15, 20 %) and aspirin (0, 10, 20, 30 mg/l) which added with 1 g/l hyponex 20-20-20 and 40 g/l sucrose. The experiment was replicated four times. Data were analyzed parametrically and nonparametrically. The result of these experiments showed the suitable conservation media through slow growth i.e. 1g/l hyponex 20-20-20 + 20% coconut water + 20 mg/l aspirin + 40 g/l sucrose + 7 g/l agar. This media composition could produce high green inter nodes number, high root number and more than two green leaf number. This experiment also showed that MS media could be replaced by Hyponex 20-20-20 which is cheaper and easier to find for conservation medium.
