Abstract:	The study aims to analyze: (1). The extent of positive attitudes affect performance, (2). The extent of leadership affect the performance. The unit of analysis is the manager of manufacturing company in Surabaya. With the number of respondents by 67 managers.Techniques of data collection conducted through interviews using questionnaires and observation techniques model. The questionnaire contains 22 question items. To test the effects used multiple regression analysis with the help of analysis tools SPSS version 16. The results showed that: (1). Positive attitudes affect performance, (2). Leadership effect on performance.
