Abstract:	Need of land by human beings increase with increasing number of population but opposite with land availability. Therefore utilization of land in some area is not suitable with quality, and capability of the land, and can cause land damage and decreasing land productivity. Fenafafan are new distric in region of South Buru. Survey method was used in this study, and data were analyzed using Technical Advice of Land Evaluation for Agriculture Commodity. Result of research showed that there are 22 land unit with 6 of soil varieties namely regosols, gleisols, cambisols, brunizem, alluvial, and podsolics. Quality of land for agriculture development are influenced by landscape and slope as negative factors as well as climate and soil as positive factors.
