Abstract: Broiler meat to be option of animal protein, but the flavor and texture, as well as fat contens owned broiler carcass is less interested in the community. This study aims to determine the body weight gain of broilers and knowing the physical quality of broiler chicken carcass with giving Mayana leaves (Solenostemon scutellarioides, L.) as a feed mixture. Expected carcass quality of broiler chickens which have been less interested in the community because of the high fat content, flavor and texture that is less preferred carcass can be improved by administering Mayana leaves. This study uses 20 DOC broiler with 2 containing treatment that Mayana leaves and without using Mayana leaves, with 2 repetitions. Variables measured were proximate content, body weight gain of chicken, and weight of carcass. Data were analyzed descriptive, about the influence ofextending Mayana leaves. The result showed that the Mayana leaves has potential as an additional mixed ration but still need to be assessed on the content of antinutrisi for use as poultry feed. Giving Mayana leaves as feed mixture can increase feed intake and improve body weight gain and carcass weight. The texture of chicken meat which giving Mayana leaves become more dense, but the fat content is not much different from a mixture of leaf feeding without Mayana.
