| Abstract: | The split occurred in Ambon some years ago results bad affect to local government , one of which is affected was Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM). It raises some issues such as the financial problem in PDAM. Condition of the company refers to financial performance as measured by Return On Equity (ROE) based. ROE nearly comes from net income generate and optimal capital structure works for financing the company. Based on that opinion, purpose of this research was to determine the effect of growth in net income and capital structure to the financial performance of Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM), especially in ROE and the simultaneous effect of net income growth and capital structure.The research method based on case studies and analysis of data using multiple linear regression. The results with the t test show that growth in net income has no significant effect on the financial performance (ROE) and the capital structure has a negative but significant impact on ROE. Using the F test, there is a significant effect of growth in net income and capital structure on ROE. Contribution of net income growth and capital structure influence on ROE was shown by the value of R2= 96,9%. It may be summed up by 3,1% influenced by other factors.
