| Abstract: | Mangrove ecosystem as one of coastal resources has strategic role in the development of coastal areas, especially in the aspect of economy development the coastal communities.This study attempts to describeof social and economic conditions the community as well as do correlation analysis components socioeconomic situation of the community who use ecosystem mangrove on the bay of kotania, SeramWestern. Research in 5 (five) hamlet that are in the bay of kotania.OsiIsland, Kotania Bottom, Wael, Airpessy and Taman Jaya.This location, which were selected purposively or deliberately with a consideration that to five hamlets are ecosystem mangrove.The method of analysis that used in the form of analysis qualitative and statistical analysis multivariabel based on close analysis of the principal components principal component analysis with the approach participatory rural appraisal.The results of the analysis shows that the level of education respondents have ties with the decision taken in the use of ecosystem mangrove. Age productive influential strong in the use of ecosystem mangrove because it has the number of torrent of working time also longer. Size variable dependents having strong correlation strong against dependent variable and this is going to affect attitude and the contribution of the community to a program .Variable income varied at the five locations research where this variable has strong role in the use of ecosystem mangrove. |
