| Abstract: | Institute of Kewang in executing function and role of protection of forest environment in Moluccas at forest region representing customary law society sir region have base of constitutionality in UUD 1945. But in its regulation have certain limitations. More than anything else arrangement of observation of forest by functionary of forestry with police authority also represent limitation effort to function and role of Institute of Kewang. Properly, regulation in Act Number 41 of 1999 must be done judicial review of Court Constitution and cannot be applied to forest region representing custom forest in Moluccas |
