Abstract:	This study aimed to examine the effect of indirect expenditure to the contribution of the plantation sector and its impact on employment in the agricultural sector districts in the province of Maluku. The data of this research used secondary data in the form of time series and cross section (panel data), covering eight districts in the province of Maluku 2005-2009. The analysis technique in this study used Path Analysis through Model Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that the indirect expenditure is positive and significant impact on the contribution of the plantation sector. The results also showed that the contribution of the plantation sector is positive and significant impact on employment as the agricultural sector.
