Abstract: Financial aspect is the core of business activity, since it is related to the efficiency of funding determination and budget allocation in order to produce profits. The aim of this research is to do feasibility study and calculate the profit of pole and line Skipjack Tuna Fisheries in Maluku Province. The data was collected from several skipjack production centers in Maluku. Collected data then analyzed based on investment criteria, preceded by calculating the profits. The result showed that size of pole and line boat that used for exploitation of mackarel tuna in Maluku Province ranged from <20 to 30 GT. Small sized boats (<20 GT) were less effective because of the far fishing ground with high operational cost, while the productions were not consistently high, lead to small profit production 28-30 GT sized boats have higher income with rather high profits. Average profit is 348.079.291/boat/year. Pole and line skipjack tuna fisheries using 28-30 GT sized boats are feasible to be develop due to the positive NPV, Net B/C>1 and IRR>social opportunity cost.
