Abstract: According to the Central Statistics Agency Maluku Province, the average consumption of vegetables people of Maluku lower than the7,78 kgs percapita per year recommended by food and agriculture organizations (FAO), which is 75 kgs per capita per year. Yet with increasing domestic consumption of vegetables, in addition to improving health status, also increasing the income of farmers. This study aims to determine factors influencing leaf vegetable demand in Rutong and Naku Villlage, South Leitimur District and to determine the most dominant factor influencing leaf vegetables in Rutong and Naku Village. Data was analysed by usingMultiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results indicated that factors influencing leaf vegetables demand in Rutong and Naku village are the price of leaf vegetable, the price of fruit vegetable, the level of income and the number of family members. The most dominant factor influencing leaf vegetable demand in Rutong and Naku village is the number of family members based on the value of tcount 3,861 which is greater than ttable 2,40489 at the confidence level of 99 percent.
