| Abstract: | The development of cassava in Maluku potential. Central Maluku regency is a regency in Maluku Province as the largest producer of cassava. Area harvested cassava is 1,266 hectares with a production of 30 786 tons (CBS, 2015). One of the villages in the district where the population Salahutu cultivate cassava is Waai village because there are people from Buton tribe who settled in the two Hamlet is Hamlet Stone Dragon and Ujung Batu. The second community hamlet commercialize cassava is processed into gepe. Gepe has selling relatively well when marketed. Marketing is very important for processed products. If marketing does not work then all that is done will be in vain. The purpose of this study was to analyze the marketing channels and marketing margins gepe. Respondents were taken using a formula Slovin that as many as 50 craftsmen and using census method for sampling collector (gepe) as many as five people. The data collected are primary data obtained from direct interviews with the questionnaire. Meanwhile, secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics, Journal, and Thesis. Methods of data analysis using analysis of margins and margin share. The results showed gepe marketing channels are formed in the first two channels, namely channels, producers market their products directly to consumers so that the benefits received 93.52 percent or Rp craftsmen. 5705. For the second marketing channel, there were traders involved in marketing gepe. Traders took gepe directly to the artisans are then sold to the market Mardika. Pedangan collecting benefits received by 20.67 percent or Rp. 248.00 as traders have to spend a relatively high cost in marketing gepe. |
