Abstract: Nutmeg is the dominant plant cultivated by people in Allang and Hatu village. The distance from nutmeg production site in the study area is relatively close to the Provincial capital, so that allows farmers to gain greater profit by selling directly to provincial collectors. This research ailned to find out nutmeg marketing system in Allang and Hatu village. Sampling was done by using simple random sampling. Samples were taken as many as 15 percent from nutmeg farmer population with total land of 1-2 hectares. Total sample in Allang village was 45 respondents out of 300 nutmeg farmers in Allang village and 25 respondents out of 167 nutmeg farmers in Hatu village. Analysis used in this study were qualitative and quantitative analysis. Results showed that there were two types of nutmeg marketing channel in Allang and Hatu village: type 1: farmers → village collectors → provincial collectors → inter-island traders, and type 2: farmers → provincial collectors → inter-island traders. Margin share in farmers level was 76.20 percent for marketing channel of type 1 in while it was 81.90 percent for marketing channel 2 in Allang and Hatu village.
