| Abstract: | This study aims to (1) analyze the benefits and feasibility of soybean farming in the District Makimi Nabire, (2) the influence of factors of production on the production of soybean farming in the District Makimi Nabire, and (3) analyze the efficient use of production factors on the production of soybean farming in the District Makimi Nabire. The research was conducted in the District Makimi Nabire Papua Province. Research methods used were observation and interviews, a sample of 65 respondents drawn randomly using a simple technique of drawing the whole soybean farmers in the area of research. Data were analyzed with analysis of farming methods, the R / C ratio, multiple regression with the help of Jacob-Douglas production function and the NPM. The results showed that: (1) Revenues in the soybean farming profitable and viable research area cultivated, can be viewed from income of Rp 5.319.814,15/ha and the value of RC/R at 2.09/ha in a single growing season. (2) Overall (simultaneous) observed variables significantly affect production, but a partial of land, labor and fertilizer significant effect, while the seeds and pesticides had no effect on soybean production. (3) Technically relatively efficient in the use of production factors. Allocative efficiency analysis shows that the production factors land, labor, and pesticides have not been efficient, then its use should be added to the factors of production, while seed and fertilizer should be reduced because it is inefficient in its use. |
