Abstract: This research aimed to know the diversification of food consumption and analyze factors influencing diversification at household level in Yogyakarta Province. This research used SUSENAS (National Socio-Economic Survey) data at household level from Central Bureau of Statistic (BPS) of Yogyakarta Province in 2011. Total number of sample was 925 households. Diversification of food consumption was measured by the entropy index. The multiple linear regression model was used to identify the factors that influenced the diversification of food consumption. The result of the analysis showed that the descriptive level of diversification of food consumption in the household who work as farmers were more diverse than in household with other jobs, in rural households were more diverse than in urban areas, for poor households were more diverse than non-poor households, for rice recipient poor households were more diverse than non recipient households, and the diversification of food consumption was affected by income, family size and the age of wife.
