Abstract: The research on economic behavior embeddedness in social relations was conducted at Teon Nila Serua (TNS) district. The research method applied was Snowball towards nine selected key persons. The purposes of the research were to investigate economic behavior in the context of sopi marketing network, a traditional liquor alcohol product, and to determine factors that affected economic behavior within the sopi marketing networks. The research results showed that economic behavior embeddedness in social relation was constructed based on existing social networks. The social relations constructed between informants and customers were based on kinship, friendship, combination of kinship and friendship, and combination of friendship and neighbor. The determinant factors that affected the choice of certain networks were social relation in terms of (family, friend and neighbor) between informant and customer, economic factor that was related to certainty of selling, and psychological factor which related to the experience of the informant in sopi marketing process. The other pivotal factor is trust as a social capital asset to maintain and develop networks between informant and customer, because the existence of trust made marketing process became fluid.
