| Abstract: | The purposes of the research were to describe the forms of farmers opposition in group formation phenomenon in rural context and to determine factors triggered the opposition. The research was conducted in Yafila Village, Amahai District, Central Maluku Regency. Snowball sampling technique was applied to collect data from 16 selected informants. The research results showed that farmers opposition was categorized as quite and polite opposition. The main factors that triggered farmer's opposition are economic, social and psychological factors. |
