| Abstract: | The purposes of this study were to determine the characteristics of nutmeg oil Agroindustry at UD. Bintang Timur, to analyze the feasibility of nutmeg oil agroindustry at the UD.Bintang Timur, and to design strategies in the development of nutmeg oil agroindustry at UD.Bintang Timur. Primary data was obtained through questionnaires and structured interviews while secondary data was obtained through the study of literature in the relevant agencies, journals, etc. Data analysis methods used were qualitative analysis by describing the characteristics of UD.BintangTimur, quantitative analysis to analyze the feasibility of income and business at UD. Bintang Timur and SWOT analysis used to analyze alternative strategies for the development of UD.BintangTimur. The results showed that the UD.BintangTimur is an individual private company that process agricultural products such as spices. The results of financial feasibility analysis showed that the value of NPV is Rp28.879.259, 50, -, IRR 23.979 percent, Net B/C of 1.28 times, Gross B/C 1.05, PBP 2 years 3 months and 21 days or in the third or second production, BEP 5 years 25 days or in the sixth year of first production. Furthermore, the sensitivity analysis showed that the company has a high sensitivity to the decline in selling price. In addition, based on the evaluation of internal and external factors and SWOT analysis several alternative strategies were formulated such as the development of nutmeg oil business with product diversification, the increasing of sales volume, a partnership with credit providers, the expanding of marketing network, maintaining product quality and establishing good relationships with nutmeg farmers so the bargainning position nutmeg can be acceptable. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that nutmeg oil refining business at UD.BintangTimur is feasible to develop. |
