Abstract: Export in development economics perspective not only as part of aggregate demand, but it is one of the driving force of economic growth. Exports have been seen as a macroeconomic variable that holds a strategic position in the economy is therefore necessary to study the performance of the export itself. This study is intended to look at the province's export performance in Indonesia using the Regional Export Performance Index (REPI). The result shows the rating distribution of very diverse province. On average, the highest rating is reached 2.73954 owned by the Province of East Kalimantan and the lowest 0.00133 owned by the Province of Yogyakarta. Rating 2.73954 indicates that the performance of provincial exports reached 2.73954 times higher than its regional economic capabilities. In other words, for every 1 % of the national share of the regional economy will create 2.73954 % of regional exports. Rating 0.00133 means that every 1 % share of the regional economy creating only 0.00133 % of export or 99.87 % below the capacity of regional economies.
