Abstract: | The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of wages, human capital, the intensity of the use of labor, working capital, the demand for goods and production on request of the labor on small-craft industries in the province of Maluku. Selected sample is 148 samples using the method of sampling methods and pruposive Area sampling method. The results obtained that only the working capital and production are significant and negative effect on labor demand. These negative results were closely related to the characteristics of small industries that produce more new orders so that production can only be executed if the previous production had been sold/ taken buyers. These conditions are demanding the government's role to open upmarket opportunities for business actors to the production process can run normally. |
