Abstract:	Improving the welfare of farmers is one of the goals of extension, resulting from the changes in farmers behaviors to be a better person. One of agriculture development facilitating requirement is the cooperation between farmers. Therefore, the guidance through extension in order to carry out all the activities from the planting phase to obtain the output is needed. This study aims to determine the response of farmers to the methods used in agricultural extension and factors that affect the application of extension methods. The results show that the response of farmers to the methods used in agricultural extension was used more group approach method because it is more efficient than individual approach method and mass approach method. Factors that affect the application of the extension method were the availability of the production means, the availability of extension workers, and the availability of jobs.
