Abstract: This research is aimed to identify, analyze, and obtain the impirical data in relation to the influence implementation of professional ethics and motivation to work on performance ofgovernment internal auditor’s on inspectorate ofAmbon city. The independent variables in this research are implementation of professional ethics and motivation to work. And the dependent variable, on the other hand, in this research is the performance of government internal auditor’s. Data of this research is a primary data obtained from questionnaires circulated to 32 auditors on local government in inspectorate of Ambon city. Analysis model that used is multiple path analysis, these analysis based on valid questionnaires taken from 32 responden. These result of this research represent that the implementation of professional ethics and motivation to work that have significant influence on performance of government internal auditor’s on inspectorate of local government in inspectorate of Ambon city area simultaneously. In Partially, the implementation of professional ethics and motivation to work that have significant influence on performance of government internal auditor’s on inspectorate of local inspectorate of Ambon city area; however; the implementation of professional ethics has the bigger influence on performance of local government in inspectorate of Ambon city.
