Abstract:	Erie fish landing base (PPI), a fishing port in Ambon, was built in 2008. There have been some problems occurred during its operation such as the fishing vessels did not load the catch and the facilities did not support. Therefore, the analysis of role and development strategy were needed in order to find solution for overcoming the problems in PPI Erie. The research was carried out on April until May 2018 using Extand Method, Path Analysis, SWOT and AHP with Software Expert Choice 9.5. The result showed that the condition of the facilities must be maintained while supported by effort to develop fish port. The variable that influenced significantly was X3 variable (supporting facility) toward FP (Port Facility). Among the five alternative strategies that found in this research, the most priority that should be developed was institutional formation.
