Abstract: The research compares several existing geotermometer equation namely Na-K with the equation of successful new geotermometer formulated namely (􀜰􀜽− 􀜭)􀯣 comparison with the parameter at the root mean square error (rms error) and know the nature of heat flow, and reservoir temperature springs Talang Haha hot water, so it can be determined whether or not the prospect of a geothermal field in the study area. The result of chemical analysis of Talang Haha hot water sample with Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer method (AAS-NYALA) which are in the forms of concentration of Na and K and then inserted into the equation geotermometer deemed best applied in Talang Haha. The temperature measured by using the aforementioned geotermometry formulas possesses rms error value < 2 % which is enabled as Talang Haha reservoir temperature. The measurement results of water surface temperature, pH, and electrical conductivity in hot springs location Talang Haha on 31 August to 1 September 2010 showed that the type is the type of geothermal geothermal Talang Haha with high temperature, ie (272-277)°C so that a potential field geothermal.
