| Abstract: | This study aims to analyze the internal and external factors of poverty at the village community in Leksula Central Maluku. Sampling techniques using systematic random sampling method, the number of samples taken at 15 percent of the 290 households in the village of Leksula, as many as 43 families. The data collected in the form of primary data and secondary data. To analyze the poverty line defined by the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and the World Bank then used the analysis of income, while for analyzing the poverty reduction strategy used SWOT analysis form of identification strength (S), Weaknesses (W), which is an internal factor was confronted with the opportunities (O) and Threats (T) which is an external factor. The results showed that age, education level, number of dependents burden, and skill as internal factors and government policies, lack of capital, frequency of outreach activities as external factors that affect the level of household income and is causes of poverty in the village Leksula. It is expected that the assistance provided is leading to an increase in human resources) through education and training for the community so that the community can be self-sufficient, such as guidance and training in small and medium enterprises as well as capital, so that people can on their own to increase their household income. |
