| Abstract: | The agricultural sector is a sector that has a very important role, especially in the various provision of human needs against material foods, for example vegetables. Balanced in meeting the needs of the people must always be on guard, for the production of vegetables should be done continuously. Waiheru village is one of vegetable production centers in the city of Ambon. Generally local production marketing of farming to modern market (Hypermart) and traditional market. Vegetables has selling relatively well when marketed so that it can be seen from here how big the contribution of the two markets against farmers' income. Hence, it becomes important for meticulous with purpose, knowing the great contribution made from traditional and modern market to the farmers' income. The method used is purposive. Data collected were primary and secondary data obtained from direct interviews with questionnaire. While, secondary data was obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics and other libraries. Method analyzed using calculation contribution. The result of the research showed that there were two channels of vegetable marketing, the first channel, farmers sell their products directly to consumers, and the second, there were traders who involved in marketing. The conclusions that there were two marketing channels, and marketing margins in the traditional market is the bigest advantage namely the batik spinach with profit margins Rp. 4156.2 (99.76%) because fee margin was low, in the second channel, the bigest advantage is also batik spinach with profit margin Rp. 819.3 (98.24%), and in the modern market, the bigest advantage is kangkung with profit margin Rp. 749.6 (99.95%) because the total margin is high. |
